Plant Science Student Conference 2011
The Plant Science Student Conference (PSSC) is a plant orientated conference which is organized by PhD students. This conference takes place in a yearly manner at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) in Halle (Saale) or at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) in Gatersleben. The participants are also PhD students who present and discuss their research topics. In this year the PSSC took place in Halle. There were 63 participants.
Everyone who join the conference has to contribute a talk or a poster. The best contributions were awarded by a experienced jury (Prof. Dr. Teun Munnik, Prof. Dr. Ingo Heilmann, Prof. Dr. Claus Wasternack, Dr. Michael Walter) and by the PhD students themselves.
